Anthony is a graduate of St. Charles East High School in 2016. Anthony then continued his academic and athletic career’s at Northern Illinois University where he is majoring in Special Education and was a part of the wrestling team for 3 years.
In high school Anthony was a four time all conference wrestler, 4 time sectional qualifier, 3 time state alternate, one time state place winner at 126 lbs, four time all area team and placing 5th at IL freestyle state. Anthony continued his wrestling career at Northern Illinois University where he was a two-time starter for the Huskies at 141 lbs. Anthony has wrestled at high caliber division 1 tournaments that include: Ken Kraft Midlands Championships, Michigan State Open, the MAC tournament where he placed 6th and University Freestyle Nationals in Akron OH.
Anthony began his coaching career in 2019 where he was a varsity assistant coach for his alma mater St. Charles East High School. Anthony showed an immediate impact with the team coaching an athlete to a 4th place finish at the IHSA State Championships. He also was an assistant coach for the St. Charles kid’s club program and had IKWF state qualifiers. Anthony is the youngest of three boys. His older brother’s names are Brandon and Ryan. Brandon was a state champion for St. Charles East and wrestled one year at Nebraska. Ryan was a state qualifier for St. Charles East. In Anthony’s free time, he enjoys to go back to Dekalb and hanging out with his old NIU teammates. Also in his free time, he enjoys playing video games and eating food. His favorite foods to eat include spaghetti with meat sauce,
